Most of the responding agencies that make up the Cheshire Resilience Forum will proactively issue information and advice that will help you to prepare for emergencies.

The primary channel through which this is done is social media, though information will also be posted on agency websites and through local TV, radio and press.

If you are a user of social media, it is highly recommended that you follow one or more of the accounts used by the responding agencies.

In a major emergency, if you are not involved in the incident, but are close by or believe you may be in danger, the best advice is to go inside a safe building, stay inside until you are advised to do otherwise, and tune in to local radio, TV or social media for information.
